LAZO

LAZO is a Barcelona-based DJ developing his own approach to House music, with a sound built around infectious grooves, energetic rhythms and playful track selection. His sets move between House and Tech House, combining contemporary club productions with funky edits, familiar vocal hooks and influences drawn from disco, funk and hip-hop.

His Sonance Sessions mix reflects this open-minded approach to DJing, bringing together tracks from artists including AYYBO, Mau P, San Pacho and Alaia & Gallo alongside reworked classics from artists such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, Outkast and Kanye West. The result is a varied, groove-focused selection that balances modern dancefloor energy with recognisable musical references and unexpected transitions.

As he continues to develop behind the decks, LAZO is exploring the connections between different eras and styles of dance music, building sets around rhythm, personality and the way tracks work together. With Barcelona as his home base, he is finding his own direction within the House scene, one mix at a time.
