EATR

EATR is a new DJ from Mexico currently developing his sound through an open-format approach to electronic music. Rather than being defined by a single genre, his selections explore different corners of underground club music, bringing together Techno, breaks, UK-influenced sounds, leftfield electronics and unexpected choices.
His Sonance Sessions guest mix offers an early glimpse into that musical direction, moving through hypnotic rhythms, driving club grooves, experimental textures and more eclectic moments. The tracklist features music from artists including Stones Taro, DJ Plead, Joy Orbison, Quelza, Daphni and Talk Talk, reflecting a willingness to move between contemporary electronic sounds and influences from outside the traditional dancefloor.
As a new DJ, EATR is still developing his identity behind the decks, but the mix demonstrates an instinct for interesting selections and a willingness to let different styles sit alongside each other. His open-format approach leaves room for the sound to evolve as his journey continues.
