There is something deeply fascinating about this story. Michael is a DJ, producer, and remixer born in mid-December 1987, right around the time when happy hours usually begin. A curious detail that already seems to suggest a natural inclination for atmosphere and rhythm. Since childhood, music had an irresistible pull on him, even though his childhood dream was something entirely different: to program video games. Then fate decided to show up in the form of a cereal box. Inside was a simple software for creating electronic music—an unexpected gift that would forever change his future. From that moment on, an incredible passion for music was born, nurtured with determination through courses, books, and countless online video tutorials.

Over the years, Michael has made a name for himself in the music scene by participating in and winning several competitions, including: the Emerging Contest 2013, the BNM Remix Contest, and “Song of the Month” on musicadigitale.net.

These achievements led him to sign five record deals with various labels: Dem Digital in Milan, Double Inc Records and Europe Dance Records in Perugia, Fly Beat Dance Records in Cagliari, and Alveda Music in Thessaloniki. His music has since been distributed worldwide, in both digital and physical formats.

His collaborations span both Italian and international artists, confirming his versatility and the global reach of his sound. When it comes to production, Michael has experimented extensively, diving into various electronic music genres—from house to techno—always following his instincts and the urge to explore new sonic landscapes.

But Michael’s journey didn’t stop at music production. Since 2007, he began performing as a DJ, taking his first steps through local and regional events. His refined and engaging music selection led him to collaborate with numerous radio stations, both FM and online, all across Europe and beyond—from Pioneer DJ Radio in Ibiza to Kiss FM Australia in Melbourne, passing through Xanadú Radio in Tenerife to Eurobeat Radio in London.

In 2016, he chose to step away from freelancing as a DJ to focus on radio—a medium that allows him to connect directly with listeners and share his musical vision more broadly. Thus, B-Tronic was born, a weekly podcast aired every Saturday on In Progress Radio in Amsterdam. Within his radio show, Michael carefully curates the best new releases in Techno and Progressive House, offering a constantly updated window into the most interesting trends of the electronic music scene.

In 2024, thanks to one of his DJ sets featured in the Space Monkeys UK podcast, he reached the number one spot in Mixcloud’s Techno chart—one of the world’s most prominent DJ streaming platforms—a milestone he still describes as surreal. That same year, he also contributed actively to the local scene by collaborating with his hometown council to create and teach a DJ course, sharing his passion and knowledge with the younger generation. Also in 2024, he launched a new feature called “Il Covo dei DJ” (“The DJ’s Den”), where he shares stories, artist profiles, and updates from the world of electronic music.

In a recent interview at the studios of Radio Canale Italia, Michael opened up about a more intimate side of his personality. Always shy and introverted, he found in music a sort of portal—a bridge to communicate with the world. And perhaps it is precisely this deep connection that makes his music selections so authentic. Listening to his music is like peeking into his inner universe—a world made of rhythm, emotion, and stories told without the need for words.
